Lift
I jumped onto my desk. Just now. Just to prove I still could. It was a standing leap, maybe about three feet. Let's see, it seems like my desktop is just a little below hip-level on me. Not bad, not bad at all.

You really did? OK, so yeah, that's a pretty impressive jump, I gotta admit. But didn't anyone hear you jumping around in there and come in to check on you?
Kinda makes me wonder whether this is a common practice for college professors...
While this used to be a sort of random collection of thoughts, it evolved into an experiment: can I tell a story that people are interested in? Is it pure conceit to think of myself as a writer?
